Jack has twenty-five years of experience in Diesel Engines and Machinery. After working for Homiak Transport of Vineland, New Jersey for nineteen years as the Director of Maintenance for their fleet, Jack was looking for a challenge.

When offered the position of Manager for Penny Hill Marina located on the Maurice River in Dorchester, New Jersey in 2002, he accepted. Jack ran this yard for three years and in 2005 when John and Bette Jean Yank purchased this yard, he was asked to stay.

As the Manager of the yard as well as the newly renovated and fully stocked Ship’s Store, Jack now has five years of experience in all areas including the operation of a 50 ton Marine Travelift, hauling, blocking, washing and winterization of vessels up to 72 feet in length.

He has also gained experience in sandblasting, welding, wood and fiberglass repairs, painting, repowers, strut and shaft work, and marine parts buying.

Jack will continue these duties while assisting Paul with pricing and ordering engines, generators, gears and parts for Jersey Diesel.
